How We Partnered with Timberland on Reforestation in Haiti (Documentary)
Some of you may know that over the past years I’ve been quite involved with the Moringa ‘miracle’ tree. One of the main projects I’ve done with Moringa has been in Haiti, together with an organization called the Smallholder Farmers Alliance (SFA).
For the past years the SFA has been developing some pretty amazing programs that aim to incentivize Haitian smallholder farmers to start growing trees again. You can learn more about their important (pioneering) work with smallholders and reforestation here.
One of the SFA’s main supporters has been Timberland, who also supported our Moringa project in Haiti. This documentary, “Kombit: The Cooperative“, is the story of how the SFA ended up developing their innovative partnership with Timberland. It shows some of the amazing results that the SFA has achieved during the past 5 years and also mentions the Moringa project we developed (with a brief appearance of yours truly ;-)).
Enjoy & Keep Growing!
