VLOG #3: Power Planting Moringa in the Dominican Republic!
Yes, the first Moringa trees are in the ground! And a power planting session it was: some serious muscle went into planting these babies!
A few weeks ago I was offered the opportunity to use the land of a friend of mine to start doing some projects with tree planting. For the past year I’ve been doing quite some work with the amazing Moringa tree in Haiti and since the plot of my friend is close to Santo Domingo I figured it’d make for a great opportunity to get started with Moringa in the DR as well.
Shout out to the awesome Lonny Grafman, (coordinator of Practivistas Dominicanas and founder of Appropedia.org), Wilfredo Mena Veras (Colectivo RevArk) and the group of American exchange students from Humboldt State University that all helped out with the tree planting! Thanks again for helping out!
